Fridays are always so special in The Gambia. It is a half working day as most of the Gambians are Muslims. Men are attending Friday prayers at the mosque and women are at home preparing lunch and putting their houses in order so children will enjoy the weekend.

All the teachers at Mobe-ta Nursery & Kindergarten are wearing African cultural dresses on Fridays, so do volunteers. We usually help volunteers to buy material (cloth) and than we bring it to a local tailor to sew the dress for them by chosen design.
