On Tuesday, on the 4th of March we organized sports day for children of Mo Beta Kindergarten together with volunteers Ines & Petra. It is impossible to describe the joy and excitement of children when they only heard the news that we are about to drive somewhere!
All the children were divided into 4 groups/houses, each group was representing one color of the Gambian flag; red, blue, green and white. Ines picked up the white color, Petra picked the green. The green house took the first place as a group.
We have also given ‘homemade’ medals for the fastest runners.
We decided to organize a sports day once a month to encourage sports activities for children.
